Forage Bendigo

Hands down, BEST chilli eggs I have ever had in my life. Staff get a little overwhelmed when it’s busy but I can understand. The atmosphere is great but if you’re finally getting a chance to go out on a date with your husband, away from the kids… stay out the front, away from all the babies and toddlers for a more peaceful experience lol!

Chose the simplest; eggs (scrambled & poached) on toast with tea & coffee. Eggs were better than expected given the very busy day. Coffee was better than I've had for while and I went back for seconds for a long black with maple syrup (Canadiano?). Really well run cafe with staff always cleaning and preparing between serving. Impressive work ethic.

Lovely cafe 11 minutes from CBD. They have interesting set of menu and desserts to choose from. Will definitely come back again! PS. The indoor plants are so beautiful

Foraged is one of my absolute favourite spots in Bendigo! The outdoor area is amazing, perfect for entertaining the kids while catching up with a Mum friend, and actually being able to catch up. The food is always consistently delicious, and I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad meal (or a bad matcha!) here. The vibe is relaxed, welcoming, and family-friendly. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great café experience.

Forage is always great and our local go to but my experience today meant so much to me! I decided to get my small kids out of the house solo, my kids can be wild so I was stressing the entire time. Not only was my coffee perfect and food delicious but the way the staff were in their interactions with my kids - 10/10!! Service, food, atmosphere, can’t fault them!

The smashed avocado was delicious and loved the flavors. I’ve had a lot of smashed avo and this is possibly the best so far. Loved the mix of creative ingredients, didn’t expect to enjoy the cucumber on a smashed avo so much! The only thing I could possibly nitpick is the dressing being slightly too sweet, but truly a 10/10. The pictures don’t really show just how good it was. Must try place, and the pricing is higher than average.

What Strathfieldsaye desperately needed was an absolutely awesome cafe that serves excellent quality food and coffee - the cakes and snacks are just as good too. I’ve been a long time customer here and the friendly environment (plus the food!) keeps me coming back even though I live and work on the other side of town. Great pride is taken in your coffee making, so you’re never going to get anything that will ruin your morning if it’s the first cup of the day. Definitely worth the drive regardless of where you live in Bendigo, or if you’re driving through on the way to Heathcote or Melbourne.

Been here several times and I’ve always enjoyed the food. My favourite is the breakfast pasta and the pork belly benedict with poached egg. Love the new tiramisu iced latte, too bad it’s only available this summer.
